What you will do
In this role, you lead a team responsible for installing the complete technical systems in luxury motor yachts. You safeguard quality, think along about technical feasibility and actively contribute to smart and practical solutions.
As a foreman, you are the key figure on the work floor. You work alongside your team on the installation of complete technical systems and supervise a team of 5 to 15 technicians on a daily basis. You ensure that all activities run smoothly and maintain a sharp focus on quality, planning and safety.
These will be your main tasks:
- Leading and guiding your team on the work floor
- Working hands-on in the installation process
- Coordinating daily activities according to the planning
- Identifying and resolving bottlenecks
- Checking the quality and final results of the work
- Ensuring order, cleanliness and safety on site
What you bring
You have experience in yacht building or shipbuilding
You have completed a technical education, for example in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
You possess strong leadership skills
You have a practical, solution-oriented mindset and a sharp eye for quality
You have an affinity with high-end finishing and custom work in yacht construction
