De Vries Shipyard chooses YachtInstall
Collaboration at the highest level
In May of this year, De Vries Scheepsbouw Makkum B.V., YachtInstall and YachtControl signed an agreement for the outfitting of a 24-metre yacht. Work commenced on 1 August, and the yacht is scheduled for delivery to its new owner in July 2027.
This is the first time we have been commissioned to work on a project of this scale and prestige. We are extremely proud of the trust De Vries has placed in us. It is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate what we are capable of.
YachtControl had already begun preparatory work at its facility in Hattem. The prefabrication work includes electrical skids, inverters, battery chargers and complete EmpirBus cabinets.
This approach increases efficiency, significantly reduces the risk of errors, simplifies onboard installation and helps ensure that the yacht is delivered on schedule.
No half measures
YachtInstall is responsible for the complete technical installation, from the initial design through to delivery. Working closely with De Vries, our engineers are developing an integrated plan covering everything from energy management to the fuel system.
Starting with the bare hull, we install the piping, tanks and all engine-room components. The complete electrical wiring system is installed based on the vessel’s load plan. All YachtInstall installations comply with the latest standards and are safe, functional and seamlessly integrated into the interior—without compromising design or ease of maintenance.
